The rule of the seven Nizams saw the growth of Hyderabad both culturally and economically. Huge reservoirs, like the NizamSagar, Tungabhadra, Osman Sagar, Himayath Sagar, and others were built.
On 1st November, 1956, the map of India was redrawn into linguistic states, and Hyderabad became the capital of Andhra Pradesh based on Telugu linguistic majority Languages spoken include Telugu, Hindi and Urdu, with a significant amount of English used in business. In the late 1990s and the early years of the 21st century, the increasing numbers of software companies located here - both homegrown ones as well as offshoots of MNC companies - have led people to call it as "Cyberabad". Digitisation of Hyderabad: A GHMC Approved Project & First of its kind:Digitisation of Hyderabad is a phenomenon first of its kind in the country, and a unique Project in alliance with the GHMC, aims at Globalization of the city of Hyderabad, to achieve a prominent place on the World map. By Globalization we mean that the Digitalized city is acknowledged by the Developed, and Advanced Cities as their equivalent, and the less developed Countries look forward to Hyderabad to fulfill their objectives.
Digitisation Process encompasses the entire length and breadth of the city, the opportunities for Investment in different sectors like Real Estate, Infrastructure, Education, Medicine, Tourism etc. can throw open the gates for MNC's for unlimited Investments.
In this process every establishment will be enrolled with complete details and also we utilize the longitude and latitude to asserting the GPS of the structure and once the digital number is keyed to the system the exact location is determined and the approach to this Structure building of that unit is made possible even while driving in a car etc. For that a Digital Certificate will be issued for the structure which is valid as original documents of the property depending upon the Digital Code provided to the customer which has due recognisation and validity in any transaction, sale transfer, lease etc. Another advantage provided to the digital code holder is that a scanner is provided to the locking system which is linked to the mobile phone with an alarm in case of misuse / tampering to alert the customer. An SD card can be arranged to view entire Hyderabad city under GPS system. And many more such advantages made available with the use of updated technology by linking the digital code to the satellite system.

However it is not as easy as spoken or discussed to achieve a position on the Globe. The Project needs full and committed support of various public and private Organizations, NGO's, Media Circles etc, to carve out a shape to the Concept.
With the Digitisation of Hyderabad Project, Hyderabad will become the first ever digitally mapped and imaged city in the country. The Proposal for the 3D digital imaging of the entire Hyderabad city has already been approved by GHMC. Digital information of the entire Hyderabad city will be gathered and documented to ensure not only better municipal administration, but also transparency in operations and utilization of public funds.
We are setting up 1000 resource centers spread across the Twin Cities, with a minimum of 20,000 people working with the Aim of Digitizing and making Hyderabad a Global city through the digitization.
Presently we have shortlisted 200 resource centers in Ist phase to start the operations, wherein there would be 15 personnel working in every resource center.
The Launching of this Digitization Project will be attended by the High Profile Political Personalities like Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, GHMC Authorities, Hyderabad's Mayor, Entrepreneurs, Film personalities like Mr. Allu Arjun (Film Actor) Mr. Sriram (Singer),Sports person Sania Nehwal & all the applicants who applied for 1000 resource centers and their family members & well-wishers.
